For the first time since 2010, the Virginia women’s basketball team is headed back to the big dance! Coach Boyle and the Hoos gathered as a team to watch tonight’s bracket reveal, where they were named a 10-seed that will face 7-seed California on Friday in Columbia, SC.

The Cavaliers finished the season 18-13 overall and tied for sixth in the ACC with a 10-6 record. This is Coach Boyle’s first NCAA tournament as head coach of the Hoos.
Virginia tips off Friday at 5pm, and will play the winner of the 2-15 matchup between South Carolina and North Carolina A&T.
