The ACC announced it’s preseason projections for the upcoming 2018 soccer season and the Virginia Cavaliers were pegged to finish 2nd in the Coastal Division.
The ACC’s 12 head coaches voted and projected the North Carolina Tar Heels to be the top team entering the season. Of the twelve head coaches, eleven of them picked the Heels to win the Coastal, with one giving their vote to the Hoos (we see you Coach Gelnovatch!)

Overall, the Cavaliers came tied Louisville for 4th overall with 53 points, which trails only UNC, the Wake Fores Demon Deacons, and the Clemson Tigers.
Entering the 2018 season, the Cavaliers are ranked in the Top 25, and are coming off a season that saw them finish 3rd in the Coastal Division, but advance to the ACC Tournament Championship.
