Louisville is 1-1 on the season after getting decimated by No. 1 Alabama in their first game and struggling until late with Indiana State last week. The Cardinals escaped Scott Stadium with a 32-25 win the last time Louisville came to Charlottesville after Lamar Jackson (now with the Baltimore Ravens) connected with Jaylen Smith on a last minute touchdown.
The game will be available on regional sports networks and streamed on ACC Network Extra. Virginia will recognize current and former military members throughout the game as part of their Military Appreciation day.
Depth Chart Remains Unchanged
Coach Mendenhall and the Hoos released the depth chart for this weekend’s matchup with the Ohio Bobcats. There are no notable changes for this week.
Juan Thornhill Earns Weekly Award
Virginia may have lost the game at Indiana on Saturday evening, but it wasn’t all doom and gloom. Senior safety Juan Thornhill was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week after his performance against the Hoosiers. Thornhill returned a blocked extra point 98 yards for two points, accumulated seven total tackles, and had an interception in the game.
Virginia’s game against Ohio kicks off at 3pm and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
