Participants in the 2019 NBA Three-Point Contest will be announced in the coming weeks, and the Brooklyn Nets are in the midst of an all-out campaign for sharpshooter Joe Harris.
Hey @NBA, Joe Harris lives to shoot. So give the people what they want and put Joey Buckets in the Three-Point Contest #NBAAllStar pic.twitter.com/oKvyHpYEXQ

I don’t think any of us should be eating any eggs prepared by Joey Buckets in the near future, but the message is one we can support: get Joe in the NBA Three-Point Contest. Harris is having himself a banner season with the Nets and has started all 39 games he’s played in this season.
He’s currently second in the league in 3PT%, shooting an impressive 48.5% from three and coming in behind just Seth Curry (49%). On top of having the hot hand from downtown, Harris is putting up career highs in FG% (51.1%), eFG% (63.8%), FT% (83.3%), rebounds per game (3.6), assists per game (2.4), and points per game (13.5).
The way players are selected for the event is a little murky (a lot of factors at play), but if Joey Buckets is picked, the 2019 Three-Point Contest takes place on February 16 in Charlotte. It will be broadcast by TNT.
