Well, no surprise here. During the broadcast of No. 1 Duke at No. 13 Florida State, ESPN announced that the first College GameDay of the season would take place at Cameron Indoor for the matchup between the Blue Devils and the No. 4 Virginia Cavaliers.
First edition of College GameDay this season will be at Cameron next Saturday before #Hoos visit Duke.

There’s no better game in college basketball that day as experts and fans alike have been clamoring for the first matchup between Duke’s high flying freshmen and Virginia’s stingy defense. Oh, and don’t forget that the Cameron Crazies will have a special guest in attendance.
While this should be a fun atmosphere, Virginia is just 1-3 in GameDay games with the one win coming at home against UNC in 2016. The Hoos have lost at home against Duke (2015) and Virginia Tech (2018) and on the road at UNC in 2017 when GameDay has been in attendance.
Game time for Saturday’s matchup with Duke is set for 6pm, and the game will air on ESPN. Before that, however, Virginia hosts No. 9 Virginia Tech at JPJ on Tuesday at 8pm. Stay with Streaking the Lawn with all the updates you’ll need!
