When the top teams win, the top teams stay put. Well, last week, the top teams won and there were no changes to the top 10 of the AP Poll. Duke stayed at No. 1, followed by No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Tennessee, No. 4 Virginia, and No. 5 Gonzaga.

Virginia, one of two remaining unbeaten teams, picked up convincing road wins over Boston College and Clemson. This week, the Hoos will find out what they’re made of as they host No. 9 Virginia Tech on Tuesday night and then go to No. 1 Duke on Saturday (along with College GameDay).

Duke beat up on Wake Forest in their first true road game of the season, and then barely escaped then-No. 13 Florida State in Tallahassee. Michigan, the other undefeated team, has continued cruising throughout the season, while Tennessee received a second-best 13 first place votes.

The ACC has six teams in the rankings yet again, with No. 11 Florida State (up two spots), No. 13 North Carolina, and No. 17 NC State joining the three top-ten squads in the rankings. Maryland, which the Hoos beat on the road in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge, jumped back into the polls at No. 19.

Louisville also received votes, as did Wisconsin and South Carolina (which Virginia already beat).

The Hoos stayed in the top spot in the Coaches Poll for the second straight week, followed by Duke, Tennessee, Michigan, and Gonzaga.
