The Virginia Cavaliers defeated No. 9 Virginia Tech last night, 81-59. De’Andre Hunter led the way for the Hoos with 21 points; Kyle Guy and Ty Jerome also added 15 and 14, respectively. In other news, we released our weekly podcast yesterday ahead of the team’s challenging ACC stretch.
Now that the new semester is upon us, UVa football, just 17 days after their Belk Bowl victory over South Carolina, is back to work in the weight room. Per Head Coach Bronco Mendenhall, spring practice will officially commence on March 26th.

The East-West Shrine Game practices got underway on Monday and UVa running back Jordan Ellis is already starting to turn heads. Per the article, Ellis, who gained more than 1,000 yards on the ground this season, “looks like one of the most explosive runners here.”
