The Virginia Cavaliers defeated the NC State Wolfpack yesterday evening 66-65 in overtime. De’Andre Hunter, who nailed two clutch free throws at the end of the contest, led the Hoos in scoring again with 15 points.
Recent UVa graduate Micah Kiser will partake in Sunday’s Super Bowl as a member of the Los Angeles Rams. Kiser’s participation marks the fifth straight Super Bowl that will feature a former Cavalier.

ESPN’s Keith Law named former UVa pitcher Daniel Lynch baseball’s 53rd best prospect yesterday. Lynch, who the Kansas City Royals drafted 34th overall in 2018’s MLB Draft, currently plays for the Single-A affiliate Lexington Legends.
Men’s basketball commit Casey Morsell, who scored 16 points in his team’s victory on Sunday, was named to the All-Lehigh Showcase First Team.
