Kyle Guy Named ACC Player of the Week

On Monday, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced the Virginia Cavaliers’ Kyle Guy was the ACC Player of the Week for the Week of December 31 - January 6.

Guy had himself quite a week by hitting career highs in points (30), rebounds (8) and three pointers (7) against Marshall in UVa’s 100-64 victory. He capped off that career day with another amazing day on the hardwood on Saturday against the Florida State Seminoles by putting up another 21 points on 7-11 shooting and 5-6 from three, including two shots at the end of the half that seemingly knocked out FSU’s will to keep playing.

Guy joins fellow Virginia Cavalier De’Andre Hunter as players to earn ACC Player of the Week awards thus far this season.
