For the second straight year, Virginia Basketball fans have to learn to deal with uncharted territory as the season prepares to get underway. One year ago around this time, we were trying to figure out how to move on after the historic upset by UMBC. This year, it’s a lot more fun.

Virginia’s 2019-20 season gets underway in 35 days as the Cavaliers hit the road to face ACC foe Syracuse. It’s the first time they have had to start with a conference opponent (thanks, ACC Network!), and it’ll be a test right out the gate.
As we get closer to the November 6 tipoff, we’ll have some sweet, sweet basketball content for you each day. We’ll have player profiles, schedule analysis, and more. Until then, just watch this:
