The Virginia Football team may not have a game this weekend as the Hoos are on a bye, but the action never stops as Bronco Mendenhall got a commitment from DE Lorenz Terry:
I am Beyond Blessed to say I have verbally Committed to the University of Virgina #GoHoos @CoachBWolfe @Coach_Sooto @UVACoachBronco pic.twitter.com/bg0ilNMBu9

Terry, a 6-5, 240 pound defensive end, hails from Richmond and attends Varina High School. If that school sounds familiar, it’s because former Wahoos Tim Harris, Reese Canady, and Doni Dowling all also attended Varina High School. Terry picked the Cavaliers over offers from James Madison and UMass.
He becomes the 12th commitment in Virginia’s 2020 class, and is the first DE. Terry joins Brandon Williams (LB), Jahmeer Carter (DT), Jimmy Christ (OT), Jestus Johnson (C), Bud Clark (DB), Lavel Davis (WR), Donovan Johnson (S), Sam Brady (LB), Ira Armstead (QB), Joshua Rawlings (TE), Dave Herard (ATH).
Vic So’oto, the Virginia D-Line coach, took to Twitter to express his excitement over the commitment:
