Saturday’s setback to the Louisville Cardinals pushed the Virginia Cavaliers back outside of SB Nation’s FanPulse Poll, released today. This is the first time first time in seven weeks that the Hoos have been left unranked.
In other news, perhaps the biggest change from a week ago is LSU’s supplanting of conference rival Alabama as the ranking’s top dog. We’ll get treated to a matchup between those two in Week Eleven for what many will bill as college football’s regular season game of the year.
Around the ACC, we’re back to just two teams representing the conference, with Clemson and Wake Forest checking in at No. 4 and No. 20, respectively. Virginia Tech also received votes in this edition of the poll.
Here’s the fans’ complete perspective after the weekend:

Week Nine’s shortcoming in Louisville expectedly hurt the Cavalier faithful’s optimism, with fan confidence dipping to a season-low of 65.2%. Unsurprisingly, then, Streaking The Lawn followers also left Virginia outside of their Top 25.
