Ty Jerome Turning Heads at Suns Training Camp (Phoenix Suns)
Though the Phoenix Suns just started training camp on Monday, former UVA star Ty Jerome has already made an impression on his new team. “He can do a little bit of everything: pass, dribble, shoot,” said NBA star and teammate Devin Booker.
After competing with the national team at the FIBA World Cup last month, Joe Harris is back in Brooklyn preparing for the upcoming season with the new-look Nets. Harris and his team will open up their 2019-20 campaign on October 23 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Head coach Tony Bennett was given the Nell and John Wooden Excellence in Coaching Award on Wednesday. The award, which was founded in 2012, recognizes basketball coaches who have held standards and maintained a certain level of integrity similar to that of the legendary late John Wooden.
