In addition to posting the Week 5 ACC Football power rankings on Thursday, we kicked off our big countdown to the start of the men’s basketball’s season with an overview of the program.
Virginia-Louisville matchup will be a Gelnovatch family battle (Daily Progress)
On Friday evening, men’s soccer head coach George Gelnovatch will lead the first-ranked Cavaliers against his son, Jake, who serves as Louisville’s starting goalkeeper. This is the second time in three years that the two have faced off.
Among other things she discussed at the ACC Women’s Basketball Tipoff yesterday, head coach Tina Thompson touched on the impact of the men’s team capturing the national championship in April. Check out the video below to hear her thoughts.
