Sitting idle on Saturday meant Virginia had no chance to prove themselves in Week 12, so the Hoos remain outside of the latest FanPulse Top 25.
Near the top, there was some slight shifting, as Georgia replaced Alabama at the No. 4 position after escaping Auburn on the road, 21-14. Likewise, Oklahoma supplanted Baylor, who they beat 34-31 after trailing by 25.
In terms of ACC teams, the conference is back down to just two representatives, thanks to No. 3 Clemson’s clobbering of previously ranked Wake Forest, 52-3.

The Virginia community kept their Cavaliers inside the Top 25, but, like the national polls, left them where they were after Week 11.

Confidence dipped from 96.3% to 88% because I guess the team’s bye week performance scared some people. Or maybe it’s just the fact the fact that Virginia Tech has won five of six.

Oh, and don’t worry, basketball confidence is still at 100%, according to Streaking the Lawn voters.
