The Virginia Cavaliers are coming off their seventh straight November tournament victory as the Hoos defeated Arizona State in the championship game of the Air Force Reserve Hall of Fame Tip-Off in Connecticut.
Next season, the weather will be almost as hot as the competition as the Cavaliers are heading west to the Wooden Legacy event in California. Kansas, UCLA, and Georgetown were also announced.

The event will take place next Thanksgiving, spanning November 26-28 in Anaheim, CA. This is by far the most prestigious event the Cavaliers have been set to participate in in terms of competition, and Virginia will have a chance to get a solid non-conference matchup against the Jayhawks (currently KenPom No. 8).
Eight total teams will take part in the event, with the other four likely being announced at a later date. This year, Providence, Wake Forest, UCF, Arizona, Long Beach State, Pepperdine, Charleston, and Penn are all participating.
Virginia will be without the graduated Mamadi Diakite and Braxton Key, but welcome a stellar incoming class with Reece Beekman, Jabri Abdur-Rahim, and Carson McCorkle. Plus, Marquette transfer Sam Hauser will be eligible after redshirting this season. First year Kadin Shedrick, who is redshirting this season, will be available as well.
