Watch List Released for Men’s Citizen Naismith Trophy (Citizen Naismith Trophy)
Senior forward Mamadi Diakite was named one of the 50 players included in the first watch list for the 2020 Citizen Naismith Trophy Men’s Player of the Year, posted on Monday. The announcement comes a little less than a month after Diakite, who averaged 7.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in 2018-19, was also selected to the All-ACC preseason first-team.
Much like his former partner Malcolm Brogdon at UVA, Joe Harris is off to a great start in this year’s NBA season. Through seven games, Harris is averaging 14.3 points to go along with 3.8 rebounds per game.
