Redshirt senior forward Mamadi Diakite was named one of 46 players to be included in the 2020 Oscar Robertson Trophy Award Watch List, the U.S. Basketball Writers Association announced yesterday. Through eight games, Diakite leads the Cavaliers in points (13.4), three-point percentage (45.0), and is tied for second in rebounds (7.0).

Jarrett Parker, a member of the UVA baseball team from 2008 to 2010, signed a deal with the New York Mets on Thursday. Originally drafted 74th overall by the San Francisco Giants in 2010, Parker has enjoyed a few stints in the MLB over the course of his nine year professional career.
