UVA celebrates regular season, more postseason awards nods before ACC Tournament

It’s a good week for Virginia basketball.

Yesterday the ‘Hoos brought home a host of ACC honors, with Tony Bennett taking coach of the year honors and De’Andre Hunter was the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year and an All-ACC First Team nod alongside Kyle Guy. Ty Jerome made All-ACC Second Team. We also took a look at Virginia’s steady No. 2 ranking this week going into the NCAA Tournament and what’s at stake for the Cavaliers.

Saturday’s win over the Orange marked another ACC title for Virginia, but it was also the regular season culmination of a tremendous season.
