Sunday night, the Virginia Cavaliers punched their ticket to the Sweet 16 with a 63-51 win over the Oklahoma Sooners. Mamadi Diakite was amazing in the win with 14 points, nine rebounds, three blocks, and a steal, and the Hoos qualified for their first Sweet 16 since the 2016 season.
Virginia alumni Isaiah Wilkins and Devon Hall wouldn’t miss the game for the world, and the two teammates/friends/”brothers” decided to watch it together.

This is arguably the cutest thing I’ve seen all week, and that includes passing a lot of adorable dogs in New York City. Wilkins announced via Instagram today that he signed with the Canterbury Rams in New Zealand, and if that’s the case, he’ll be close to Hall in Australia where he plays with the Cairns Taipans.
You have to love that kind of unconditional support from former players.
