This week’s NFL Combine has been a stage for prospective players to jump up draft boards via physical and mental tests. UVa fourth year Juan Thornhill posted a few exciting results already - including a vertical jump that needs to be witnessed:

Only six defensive backs have ever posted a 44” vertical at a combine - and none of those met Thornhill’s bench press mark of 21 reps. He then tied the current combine-leading mark in the broad jump:

He also posted a solid 4.43 for his 40 yard time:

While most mock drafts have Thornhill outside of the first couple of rounds, these results could see him going earlier than initially expected. There’s more reps to go and more times to collect in other tests, so stay tuned to see if Juan improves in any of these results.
