The Virginia Cavaliers, who remained the second-ranked team in the AP Poll, shot Syracuse out of the gym on Monday evening, clobbering the Orange, 79-53. At the NFL Combine, former UVA defensive back Juan Thornhill posted some incredible numbers, including a vertical of 44” that was just one inch shy of a record.
Behind another shutout from the pitching staff and six RBIs from sophomore Tanner Morris, Virginia baseball (6-5) defeated Wagner (1-8) 14-0 at Disharoon Park on Monday afternoon. The two teams will do battle again today at the Dish at 3 PM.

Logan Greco captured the ACC Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against Syracuse over the weekend. This is the second week in a row a Cavalier has won the award.
A friendly reminder that Joe Harris is more than just a three-point shooter.
