After the Virginia Cavaliers’ historic win over Syracuse on Monday, Caroline took a step back to consider all of the takeaways from the game. Also, in case you missed it (or simply want to relive it), you can find all of UVA’s 18 made three-pointers here.

After his incredible shooting performance on Monday, Kyle Guy was named as one of the five finalists for the 2019 Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award. Guy, who is shooting 45.6% from beyond the three-point line this season, would become UVA’s first ever winner of the award, should he be selected as this year’s recipient on April 12th at The College Basketball Awards.

2019 NFL combine - Top draft prospects, risers, best of Day 4 workouts (ESPN) ($)

NFL Draft experts at ESPN.com included former UVA defensive back Juan Thornhill in their list of prospects on the rise following his performance at the NFL Combine. Thornhill, who finished with the third most interceptions in the nation in 2018 with six, recorded the highest vertical and tied for the best broad jump at the event.

After moving up and down within the San Francisco Giants organization for the first three years of his career, Jarrett Parker, who once helped lead Virginia baseball to a College World Series appearance in 2009, has gotten off to a hot start with his new club, the Los Angeles Angeles, in spring training.
