IT’S HAPPENING YOU GUYS. The Virginia Cavaliers arrived in Minneapolis on Wednesday afternoon, getting to town for the first Final Four appearance for the Hoos since 1984. Thankfully, we have the hyper-talented photographer Matt Riley and the amazing folks of Virginia Sports TV to document the whole thing for us.

Arrival in Minneapolis

The Hoos were met with quite the show upon their arrival in Minneapolis as there were people cheering, a Buick to pose in, and the coveted NCAA trophy to take photos of (but no touching!).

Jay Huff posed with a fishing rod, the guys were given what look to be small wooden paddles, and Diakite could not be happier to be sitting in a Buick.

Arrival at the Hotel

First of all, let’s look at how damn cool this hotel looks:

We got a good look at the inside of the hotel, too, where fans welcomed the squad in a very UVA-themed lobby.

The game isn’t until Saturday night, but the players and coaches will have their time filled with practices, photos, and media availability. Stay with Streaking the Lawn for updates!
