Rolling Toomer’s Corner is one of the best traditions in college sports. Whenever the Auburn Tigers have a big win (typically in football), the Auburn fans come to Toomer’s Corner to throw toilet paper all over the hallowed oak trees on the street.

These are the same trees that were made famous by Harvey Updyke being so upset Auburn beat Alabama a few years ago he decided to poison them.
Well, with 0.6 remaining, and Virginia Cavaliers’ Kyle Guy’s shot falling just short, the Auburn faithful decided it was a good time to celebrate. Not to mention, instead of celebrating Chuma Okeke, Bruce Pearl, or the team’s “win” in general, they wanted to celebrate their conference.

Next time Duke or UNC wins, don’t expect them to run the streets of Durham or Chapel Hill yelling “A-C-C! A-C-C! A-C-C!”
We won’t tell them how it turned out. I’m sure they’ve heard by now.
