The men’s lacrosse team has a new helmet for the collection as Warrior Lacrosse customized lid to commemorate the Hoos’ National Championship. The helmet — a Warrior Burn — is the same that the Cavaliers wore throughout the title run, just a little fancier. It has a silver chrome finish with an orange mask, and it’s gorgeous.

The helmet has the V-sabers on one side and the Final Four logo on the other. On the back, it features a 2019 National Champions sticker.

Helmets are not the only lax-related things getting fancy this week as Coach Lars Tiffany was joined by recently graduated midfielders Dave Smith and Ryan Conrad at Wednesday night’s ESPY Awards. The Wahoo trio accepted the Capital One Cup on behalf of Virginia, presented by former UVA football player Chris Long.
