Over the weekend, we learned about offensive lineman Ryan Swoboda’s near-death experience in 2017 and that former UVA star Joe Harris made the 12-man final roster for the USA Men’s World Cup team.

Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Lars Tiffany, who led UVA to a national championship in just his third season in Charlottesville, appeared on the ACC Network as a part of the “Packer & Woody” show last Friday morning. You can check out the entire conversation in the video below.

Virginia women’s soccer started the new athletic season in Charlottesville on a positive note, picking up two wins in three days at Klöckner Stadium over UC Irvine and Liberty by a combined score of 13-0. Up next for the women’s team will be East Carolina, again at home, this coming Friday.
