For the first time this season, the Virginia Cavaliers entered SB Nation’s FanPulse poll, moving into the 23rd position.
UVA’s entrance into the Top 25 should be welcomed by ACC homers, who only saw the Clemson Tigers - the number one overall team for the fourth straight time - in Week 2’s ranking.
Teams dropping more than two spots include Florida, who dropped from seven to 10 after they survived Kentucky on Saturday, 29-21, and Michigan State, following an ugly loss to Arizona State, as well as Washington and Texas A&M, though both took care of non-Power 5 opponents this weekend. Notably, Maryland only fell from No. 22 to No. 24 despite Saturday afternoon’s shortcoming to Temple on the road.
On the other side, UCF, Utah, Wisconsin - coming off of a bye week - Boise State and Virginia, who both entered the poll for the first time, were the big winners of the week, each climbing the list by at least three positions.
Here’s what the entire Top 25 looks like after three weeks of play:
While fans did choose to push Virginia into the national poll this time around, their support still did not match that of our own community. UVA fans placed their Cavaliers at No. 19, keeping the upward trend going after Week 3’s win.
Here’s how the Streaking The Lawn contingent saw it:

We’ve also compiled the numbers regarding how confident Wahoo fans stand following Virginia’s first three games. As you might expect for an undefeated team, our community is almost entirely unified in their positivity, though there was a slight drop-off after Saturday’s close game with Florida State.
