Though the Virginia Cavaliers were not in action yesterday, there was a college football national championship at stake last night. That was won by Heisman winner Joe Burrow and LSU, who prevailed over last year’s champs, the Clemson Tigers, 42-25.
After missing the better part of two weeks with a back injury and strep throat, Malcolm Brogdon returned to the Pacers’ starting lineup on Monday. The former UVA star poured in 21 points to go along with 9 assists and 7 rebounds, as his team bested the 76ers, 101-95.
