After a historic season that saw the Virginia Cavaliers beat their rivals from Blacksburg for the first time in a long time, claim the Coastal crown and appear in the Orange Bowl, the Wahoos finished off 2019-20 ranked No. 29 in the AP Poll.
Former All-ACC performer and current Kansas City Chiefs rookie Juan Thornhill was named to the Pro Football Writers’ 2019 All-Rookie Team for his play at the safety position, the organization announced yesterday. Thornhill recorded 58 total tackles (42 solo), three interceptions and five passes defended before tearing his ACL in his team’s regular season finale.
