Virginia ranked No. 24 in final SB Nation FanPulse Poll

Not a bad way to end the season.

Well, with the college football season coming to a close this week, it’s time to reveal our last FanPulse poll of the season.

To no one’s surprise, the LSU Tigers maintained their hold of the No. 1 spot, after they completed their magical run with a win over defending champion Clemson, 42-25, on Monday night.

Past those two, which occupy the top spots, we can find many of the other familiar giants of the sport throughout the top ten: Ohio State (No. 3), Georgia (No. 4), Oklahoma (No. 5) and Alabama (No. 8), to name a few.

For Virginia’s sake, the Hoos join Dabo Swinney’s squad as the only two teams representing the ACC in the national poll.

Here’s the complete fan perspective at season’s end:

Streaking The Lawn’s own ranking saw hardly any differences from the national one, as it constructed the same top ten as pictured above. It did move UVA up one spot to No. 23, though, placing the Cavaliers ahead of Michigan.
