As we start to wind down the college football regular season this fall, just a few games remain for teams to make a statement heading into the offseason. Who will take advantage in Week 14?
Boston College Eagles at Virginia Cavaliers
In what will likely be the most competitive conference game of the weekend, the Cavaliers return to action on Saturday when they play host to Boston College at Scott Stadium. UVA is somehow 0-6 all-time against the Eagles.
For BC’s part, it remains to be seen whether their starting quarterback, Phil Jurkovec, or running back, David Bailey, will be available on Saturday (both went down last week), though recent reports seem optimistic.

No. 3 Clemson Tigers at Virginia Tech Hokies
Virginia Tech head man Justin Fuente is squarely on the hot seat following last week’s 47-14 drubbing to 5-4 Pittsburgh. Assuming Saturday is a loss to Clemson (the Hokies currently sit as 22-point underdogs), Fuente’s job could very well be on the line on Dec. 12 in this year’s Commonwealth Clash.

No. 10 Miami Hurricanes at Duke Blue Devils
The jury is definitely still out on Miami following consecutive one-score wins over UVA, NC State and Virginia Tech. That’s not to say Duke, who is staring down their worst season since 2011 at 2-7, should give the Hurricanes too much trouble...but who knows?
