Virginia and Duke squared off on the hard court Saturday evening in a tightly contested affair. The Cavalier fans — and all those watching on ESPN — got a glimpse of Jay Huff’s full potential as the 7’1 Hoonicorn dunked all over the Blue Devils in the first half.
Huff threw down two ferocious dunks as he put up 10 points on 5-for-7 shooting in the first 20 minutes. The first spectacular dunk came as Huff faked the three and drove the lane through traffic, ending two Blue Devils with a ferocious slam.

The second, somehow, was maybe more impressive as he set a screen, then rolled out for an alley-oop from Kihei Clark. LOOK AT THIS FINISH:

The Hoos headed into the halftime break tied with No. 7 Duke, 25-25. In addition to the 10 points, Huff grabbed four rebounds and swatted six shots, which ties his career high.
NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player-turned-super fan, Kyle Guy, was excited to see the arrival of Huff:

Alexis Ohanian — Virginia alum, Reddit founder, and husband of Serena Williams — is in the building for the game and clearly loved what he was seeing:

As a team, Virginia shot 44% from the field and 33% from three in the first half. Braxton Key added eight points, and Mamadi Diakite had five for the Hoos. Virginia had seven first half turnovers, but Duke wasn’t able to score any points off of them.
The second half will get underway shortly on ESPN. Until then, let’s just watch Jay dunk all over everyone.
