Virginia Football: Kickoff Time Announced for Clemson

The Hoos will face the Tigers in Primetime on ACCN

Wahoo fans now know when the Virginia Cavaliers will kickoff against the Clemson Tigers on October 3rd: the rematch of last season’s ACC championship game will be at 8pm and televised on the ACC Network. It will be the 2nd conference game for both teams - assuming Duke vs UVA does in fact happen this Saturday - as Clemson has already beaten Wake Forest 37-13 in their season opener. The 2-0 Tigers have also beaten the Citadel this season and will use their bye weekend this week to rest up for the Hoos.

UVA’s now-season-opener is at 4pm this Saturday against Duke, so we’ll all hopefully get to see Brennan Armstrong take over the reins as the starting quarterback before he faces the daunting Clemson defense. In last year’s ACC Championship, the Hoos were thoroughly dominated by the Tigers 62-17 - which fits the recent trend for Clemson against ACC opponents.
