If nothing else, the 2020-21 men’s college basketball season will keep you on your toes. Thanks to the rescheduling of Pittsburgh’s game at Georgia Tech, the Virginia-Notre Dame game on Wednesday, January 13, was moved from 8:30pm to 2:30pm. Then, on Sunday, the time changed gain, this time to 4:30pm. The game will still be broadcast on the ACC Network.

FOR CLARITY: The Notre Dame-Virginia game will take place at John Paul Jones Arena on Wednesday, January 13 at 4:30pm.

The Cavaliers are coming off of a 61-49 win at Boston College on Saturday, January 9 and now will return home for its second game of the season against the Fighting Irish. Virginia won the first battle in South Bend, 66-57, on December 30 to open ACC play. Kihei Clark led the Hoos with 19 points, five assists, and zero turnovers in the win, and Jay Huff (15 points) and Sam Hauser (13 points) each hit double-digit scoring.

Check out the highlights:

Virginia was without players Casey Morsell and Austin Katstra and coaches Jason Willford, Brad Soderberg, and Orlando Vandross in Wednesday’s win over Wake Forest due to a positive coronavirus test of a staff member and the ensuing contact tracing. Morsell, Katstra, and Vandross were not available for Saturday’s game at Boston College, meaning Johnny Carpenter (Director of Player Personnel) and Ronnie Wideman (Associate AD for Basketball Operations) once again helped out Tony Bennett.

Notre Dame dropped a road game to Virginia Tech on Sunday night.

Stay tuned for more updates as they are available.
