It’s been over a month since the conclusion of Virginia’s men’s basketball season, so we are way past due on closing out the 2020-2021 Pack Line Pledge campaign. Over the years we’ve raised over $51,000 in support of the One Love Foundation. With cancellations, postponements, and just overall chaos, this season wasn’t quite as defensively dominant as we’ve become accustomed to from Tony Bennett teams of years past, but if everyone donates this year, we should pull together over $3,500 in donations!
Here’s the final tally:
- Pack Line Pledge Games: 8 | UVA held 8 opponents to under 55. There are 35 of you who pledged this year, for a total of $403 per game. Total Amount: $3,224.00
- Women’s Basketball Bonus: 1 | The women’s team cancelled its season early, but was able to notch one Pack Line Pledge game before doing so. There were 16 of you who pledged this bonus for a total of $176 per game. Total Amount: $176.00
- Extra Credit: $14 | There are 16 of you who pledged to give an extra dollar per point where an opponent didn’t even make it to 50. That happened four times this season for a total of $100. Total Amount: $224.00
So add that all up and if everyone pays what they originally pledged, that’s a total of $3,624.00 for the One Love Foundation! You can make your donation above, or you can mail them a check. Just note on the check that this is part of the Pack Line Pledge!
