The 2021 ACC Baseball Championship gets underway on Tuesday, May 25, with Notre Dame coming in as the No. 1 seed. Virginia will be the No. 8 seed in Pool A with the Irish, and No. 12-seed Virginia Tech rounds out the grouping. The Cavaliers will face the Hokies in their first game on Tuesday at 3pm, then take on Notre Dame at 11am on Friday, May 28.
All games will be available on ACC Network Extra.
Virginia has won seven of its last 10 games, including winning their last four series against Duke, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Boston College. The Cavaliers are now 27-22 on the season, including a .500 record in conference at 18-18.

The ACC Baseball Championship will feature a pool-play format, leading into a four-team, single-elimination bracket to determine the league champion. Each team in the four pools will play one game against each of the other two opponents in its pool Tuesday through Friday (May 21-24). The four teams with the best records within their respective pools will advance to Saturday’s semifinals, with the winners playing on Sunday in the ACC Championship Game. If the teams are tied at the completion of pool play, the team with the highest seed in the respective pool will advance.
