• Virginia is 69-85 all-time vs. NC State in the series that dates to 1912-13.

• UVA stopped NC State’s two-game win streak in the series with its 63-50 win last season.

• NC State ended UVA’s seven-game road winning streak in the series with its 77-63 win in UVA’s last visit to PNC Arena on Jan. 22, 2022.

• NC State has won three of the last five games in the series.

• UVA is 24-39, including a 9-8 mark at PNC Arena, against NC State in Raleigh.

• Tony Bennett is 15-5 vs. NC State as head coach at Virginia.

Last Time vs. the Wolfpack

• Then-No. 8 Virginia held then-No. 22 NC State to 33 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers in a 63-50 win at John Paul Jones Arena on Feb. 7, 2023.

• The Cavaliers sustained a lead for nearly 38 minutes of game time and led by as many as 20 points early in the second half.

• For the fourth consecutive game, Virginia was led in scoring by Jayden Gardner with 18 points, 6-12 FG, 6-6 FT).

• Reece Beekman (15 points) and Kadin Shedrick (10 points, 6 rebounds) also scored in double figures for the Hoos.

• Terquavion Smith led the Wolfpack with 19 points and former Cavalier Casey Morsell added 18 points.

Last Time Out

• Isaac McKneely scored 18 points and Ryan Dunn added 15 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double in Virginia’s 77-53 win over Louisville on Jan. 3.

• Taine Murray scored 12 points off the bench and Reece Beekman chipped in 11 points and eight assists as UVA increased its home win streak to 19 games.

• UVA shot 51.7 percent in the win, out-rebounded the Cardinals 34-27 and had 20 assists and three turnovers.
