For the past several years, the state of Virginia has been clamoring that it has some of the deepest basketball programs in the country -- in large part thanks to VCU and George Mason's recent Final Four runs. But who reigns supreme in the commonwealth? RVANews is coordinating the efforts for the weekly Commonwealth Power Rankings, of which I am a part. Joining me are: Gary Cope (VT; TechHoops.com), Joshua Grice (UR; Richmond Rowdies), Mark Selig (JMU; DukesOfJMU.com) and Aaron Williams (VCU; RVANews). They are continuing to add voters to the poll.
Without further ado, here are this week's rankings. The number of first place votes are in parenthesis.
