Virginia Basketball Debuts USA TODAY Coaches Poll at No. 25

The Virginia Basketball HYPE is catching on! Can you feel it??

With football season um, not going quite as well as Virginia fans would like, basketball season could not come any faster. Earlier in the week, the Cavaliers came out at No. 18 in CBSSports.com's Top 25 (and One) poll. The USA Today Coaches Poll was just released, and the Cavaliers just barely edged out Baylor to crack the Top 25.

Other ACC teams include Duke (4), Syracuse (7), UNC (11) and Notre Dame (22). Pitt also received votes.

Virginia faces two non-conference opponents who also check into the Top 25, including VCU (No. 15; November 12) and Wisconsin (No. 21, December 4). Tennessee (December 30) also received votes.
