College Basketball Preseason Top 25: Virginia Tabbed No. 8

Four ACC teams check into the Top 10, with the Hoos coming in eighth.

The USA Today Coaches Poll released their Preseason Top 25 Thursday afternoon. The Kentucky Wildcats get the top spot with 24 of the 32 first place votes. The 2015 National Champion Virginia Cavaliers are tabbed No. 8.

With Duke at No. 3, UNC No. 6 and Louisville No. 9, there are four ACC teams in the top ten, and Syracuse comes in at No. 24.

Looking at Virginia's schedule, the Hoos will have six Top 25 matchups (vs. Duke, at UNC, Louisville twice, at Syracuse and at VCU) and another six against teams receiving votes (vs. Harvard, vs. Pitt, at Notre Dame, vs. Florida State, vs. George Washington, at Miami).

College basketball is right around the corner folks!
