The ACC Digital Network brings you digital highlights of Saturday night's big win by Virginia, 24-19 over the Pitt Panthers. Analysts James Bates and Wes Durham gives a lot of the credit to Matt Johns, who did an outstanding job picking up where he left off the week prior against Kent State.
And rightfully so. Johns did a great job, with help from the O-Line, avoiding sacks for most of the evening, including two scrambles that turned into long first down plays.
The big credit, though, goes to running back Kevin Parks, who rumbled and tumbled his way to 169 rushing yards, the first time a Cavalier back has broken 150 yards since 2008. Meanwhile, the Cavalier defense was able to hold Pitt's James Conner, the ACC's leading running back coming into the game, to only 83 yards on 21 carries (4.0 yards per carry). Parks finished averaging 5.8 yards per carry.
Enjoy the video above; we'll be coming back all day long with more videos from our partners over at the ACC Digital Network for you.
