Virginia gave UCLA all they could handle in Week 1. The Hoos took care of business against Richmond in Week 2. And now, after upsetting 21st-ranked Louisville in Week 3 (I've typed that at least 8 times in the past 24 hours), the Hoos are now receiving votes in both the USA Today Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25.
In all, the Hoos have one vote in the Coaches Poll and six in the AP Top 25.
Virginia Tech, which lost to ECU just a week after they shocked Ohio State, fell out of the rankings.
In all, Virginia faces four teams in the Coaches Top 25 (four more receiving votes) and three teams in the AP Top 25 (five more receiving votes).
