Virginia Football: Kickoff times and TV information for first three home games released

We now know when the first three home games will start and where to watch.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The ACC announced the complete schedule, with times and TV information, for the first four weeks of the 2015 college football season today, and that of course includes Virginia.

The first game of the season is at UCLA on Sept. 5. The time and TV info for that one will be released at a later date.

The home opener against Notre Dame will be on ABC at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 12. This is the second all-time meeting between the Cavs and the Fighting Irish, and the first on the campus / grounds of either school.

The lone game against an FCS opponent will be against William & Mary in Charlottesville on Sept. 19. It starts at 3:30 p.m. and will be on ESPN3. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2011, when UVa came away with a 40-3 win.

Virginia does get at least one night game this season, except, joke's on us, because (as we already knew), it's a Friday. The Boise State game will be on Friday night, Sept. 25 at 8 p.m. on ESPN. This is the second straight year that Virginia will be playing on a Friday night, a spot previously reserved primarily for high school and the Big East.
