Former Virginia Cavalier Oday Aboushi is now a Houston Texan.
Thank you @nyjets for the opportunity to rep for my city. Excited to be continuing my career as a proud member of the @HoustonTexans!

The news comes just one day after news broke that the New York Jets had waived the offensive lineman, who was suspended by the NFL for the first game of the season for violating the league's Policy and Program on Substances and Abuse (policy had found a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop).
Shortly after this news broke, outlets reported that the Texans also traded Keshawn Martin to New England, a move that SB Nation's Texans site is thrilled with. Seriously. Read their comments. They're absolutely thrilled.
Aboushi was a fifth-round pick for the Jets in 2013, though he was not active his rookie season. Last year, he was active for 15 games, starting the final 10 games of the season when left guard Brian Winters sustained an injury.
