The newest AP and Coaches Top 25 Polls were just released, and after a crazy week, Virginia has fallen to twelfth in both polls, while Kentucky has replaced North Carolina at the top spot once again. Both Cal and Villanova remain in the top 15, with Villanova climbing into the top 10.
After beating Virginia, George Washington is receiving votes in both polls, coming in 27th on the AP Poll.
A lot of basketball remains to be played, and you shouldn't take these early season polls too seriously. Virginia plays Lehigh heading into the Thanksgiving break, and will play Ohio State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge the following week.
