In his third game back from injury, Mike Scott tied his season-high with 20 points in the Atlanta Hawks' 114-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets. He also threw down this dunk:
Scott shot 7-14 from the field (including 2-6 from behind the arc), while grabbing 8 boards. He committed no turnovers and just 2 fouls in 30 minutes of play - both were issues that plagued him at times last season, but Scott's continued to develop into more and more of an all-around player. It was good to see him get significant time last night, as he looks to return to playing shape for the playoffs, in which the Hawks will have the #1 seed in the East.
After the game, he admitted his legs were tired, exclaiming, "I gotta get in the cold tub!"
Scott wasn't the only Wahoo who had a big night in the pros last night, as Ryan Zimmerman's first-inning two-run homer was his team's sole offense in the Washington National's 2-1 win over the Mets.
