Women's NIT: Virginia Cavaliers earn at-large bid

The Virginia Cavaliers earned an at-large bid to the Women's NIT, the Selection Committee announced Monday evening.

Though the Hoos missed the NCAA Tournament this year, they are one of four ACC schools to be featured in this year's Women's NIT field, joining Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest. Five ACC schools had made the NCAA Tournament -- Notre Dame, Louisville, Syracuse, Florida State and Miami.

It's the second straight season of heading to the WNIT for Virginia, who finished 16-15, 6-10 ACC after falling to Duke in the first round. It will be Joanne Boyle's third WNIT trip in five seasons as Virginia head coach.

The full bracket, seeds, and locations won't be released until closer to midnight. In the meantime, here's the full field follows:
