STL's 2016 ACC Awards Ballot: Who should win First-Team, Player of the Year, and more?

For some reason, your Streaking the Lawn staff doesn't get a ballot to vote in the ACC awards. However, we are sending one in anyways! 12 of us voted, and I've aggregated our results to get the "ballot" below. The official awards will be voted on after Saturday's games and announced next week.

Brogdon, Johnson, and Barber were all unanimous first-team picks, and Blossomgame and Allen had strong majorities as well. We voted Brogdon as Player of the Year (with only 1 dissenter) and Defensive Player of the Year (unanimously). However, to show we aren't homers, we also picked Buzz Williams over Jim Larranaga for Coach of the Year.

When the official awards are announced next week, I would be surprised if this isn't the official first-team. Maybe Brandon Ingram could jump Jaron Blossomgame if the Carolina media has its way, but Blossomgame's 31 point performance against Virginia this week seemed to seal the deal. Brogdon is probably the favorite at Player of the Year, though Brice Johnson has a chance as well. Coach of the Year will be an interesting vote, with Williams, Larranaga, and probably Tony Bennett getting votes.  Finally, while Blossomgame took home "Most Improved" on our ballot, I'd predict that Grayson Allen is the one that ends up winning.

Last year, we picked 4 of the 5 ACC first-team players (we had Rozier and Gill over Hanlan), and also correctly picked Jahlil Okafor as Player of the Year and Tony Bennett as Coach of the Year (though we had Brogdon as defensive player of the year over eventual winner Darion Atkins).
