Virginia is coming off a loss at Virginia Tech for the second straight year, a 2OT thriller — but one of those thrillers where everyone is dead at the end and you’re mad at everybody and you don’t really want to talk about it and no, everything is not OK, but just leave me alone already. One of those.
Anyway, back in 2007, UVA had an incredible win over Duke — it certainly wasn’t the last one, but it was one of the most memorable. So much so that we thought it’d be worth it to do an oral history of that win. We reached out to J.R. Reynolds, Myron Ripley, and Mac McDonald to tell their story. Well worth the read.
Leave your thoughts pre-, in-, and post-game, and go Hoos!
